Rheinforum is committed to ensuring that published research remains permanently accessible, regardless of the publisher's future operating status.

Long-Term Preservation

Published proceedings are archived for long-term digital preservation through a dark-archive infrastructure consistent with the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS-style principles, ensuring that content remains retrievable even in the event of discontinuation.

Persistent Identifiers

Every published article is assigned a persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring stable, citable links to the published version of record.

Indexing

Rheinforum actively pursues inclusion in major scholarly indexes and discovery services, including Google Scholar, DOAJ, OpenAIRE, BASE, and CORE. Applications to these services have been prepared or submitted, and inclusion is expected to expand over time as each platform completes its own independent review process. The proceedings follow DOAJ best practice for open-access publishing.

We do not claim membership in any indexing database that has not formally confirmed inclusion, and we update this page as indexing status changes. Where indexing or archival status changes for a specific issue, the editorial office can provide updated confirmation upon request.
